Bret Rush from Nathan Magsig's office is dropping off your certificates for participation in last week's clean up efforts today (Wednesday, February 19, 2020) around noon at The Freight Station! (If you signed your name to the sign-in sheet at the event, you have a certificate to pick up!)
Again, we can't thank you enough for your participation and willingness to help. You people (our people), are amazing and we're honored to know you. We'd also like you to tell us about other areas you think could use a good clean up and we'll use it as an excuse to get together again! (Next time, we'll get more donuts) ;)
We're also in talks with Nathan Magsisg's office to find a date, time, and place that works for the most amount of people in the foothills for Rep. Magsig to hold a town forum. We've asked for a Disaster Readiness plan (at the request of many of you who filled out our recent survey, thank you), and we encourage you to either email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us through the website for further discussion topics.
Current dates being thrown around are March 17th, 18th, 19th, 24th, or 25th. This is a great way to get to know our representatives and have important questions about how current and future laws in Fresno County will affect our specific area. They need to hear from these rural communities so we can work together for the benefit of all!
We'd love to hear your thoughts to see which of these dates works the best for the most amount of people. Please submit your thoughts through the website or with Cortney Burke at The Freight Station and we'll set it up!
Thank you all, again.
